All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE)

What is AIEE?

AIEEE is an engineering entrance exam and students willing to make it to the best engineering colleges in indianita is an all India common entrance exam for admission to undergraduate programs in the field of engineering, technology, pharmacy and architecture in various universities in India. The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India made a political decision to conduct an All India Engineering Entrance Examination in 2002 (AIEEE-2002) with a view to minimizing the difficulties experienced by candidates and their guardians due to to a large number of entrance exams that are being carried out to enter degree programs in the aforementioned areas. It normally takes place in the month of May of each year.

Who is eligible to apply to AIEEE?

In 2006, the minimum academic qualification for admission through the AIEEE was to pass the final exam of 10+2 (Class XII), or its equivalent, called the qualifying exam. Those who appear in the final exam 10+2 (Class XII), or equivalent, with undeclared results, could also appear in counselling. Said candidates were provisionally admitted, subject to the presentation of proof of having passed the qualifying exam no later than September 15, 2006 at the assigned institution. AIEEE test pattern

Students who opt for B.Tech are tested in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. The duration of the test is 3 hours with a maximum mark of 540, with equal age weight of 180 for each of the three subjects. Students who opt for B.Arch are tested in math and an aptitude test. Most of the questions are based on fundamentals and their applications. So the first step is to establish a solid foundation by mastering the fundamentals. Preparation for the AIEEE exam
