Finding your mineral makeup shade

Not sure which mineral makeup shade is right for you? Don’t worry, choosing the shade that makes you look amazing is easy, if you know what to look for.

Your skin tone is based on the subtle warmth or coolness in your skin tone. Your tone may darken or lighten depending on the season, your age, and sun exposure, but your undertone will remain the same.

To determine your skin tone, read the descriptions below for cool, warm, and neutral tones. If you have more characteristics of the warm or cold descriptions, then that skin type probably applies to you. If you have the same number of characteristics of both warm and cold skin types, you probably have neutral skin.

Cold Skin tone:

Eye color

  • sunburns and / or freckles easily

Natural hair color

Neutral Skin tone:

If you have the same number of characteristics of both warm and cold skin types, you probably have neutral skin.

Choosing a mineral-based shade

Choose a mineral foundation with undertones that match your skin type and a shade that matches the darkness or lightness of your skin.

For fresh skin:

Choose a mineral base with pink or blue undertones.

For warm skin:

Choose a mineral base with yellow undertones.

For neutral skin:

Choose a mineral base with a neutral undertone.

For cool skin tones:
