Drip Delta Cordless Drill Review

In my Dremel toolbox, I have two of my favorite Dremel tools: the Dremel Multi-Max Cordless Drill and the Dremel Multi-Max Grip Cordless Drill. Although they are both considered high quality models, there are several notable differences between them that I thought would be interesting to share with readers. As is my habit, I will start out with the features and functions that I love and end with the ones that I do not. To start, I love my Dremel Multi-Max because it has so many different power speeds. In my opinion, the faster the speed the better it is for cleaning hard-to-reach nooks and crevices.

The Dremel Multi-Max also comes with a huge adapter that allows it to be used with any battery source that is suitable (which is pretty much all of them nowadays). Although I am a big fan of batteries, I must say that this was a little weak for me. I think you need a 9 volt battery in order to get the power you need to drill very hard. Even though it is a big drill, it is still very heavy when plugged in.

In addition to being a little weak on power, I also found that the battery life on the Dremel Multi-Max was not very long at all. It lasted a little over an hour, which isn’t much. To me, this is way too short for a cordless drill. A good choice would be the cordless drill that is corded. Not only does it give you longer hours of battery life, but it also has a huge plus that you can use almost any battery source that you might need.

The grip on the Dremel Multi-Max is a little bit thinner than some other cordless drills. I don’t really mind because the extra grip is great for my hands. One thing I did like about the Dremel Multi-Max is the fact that you can adjust the height of the grip to where it is comfortable for you to have. This is great when working with smaller bit sizes.

As far as the drill itself goes, I liked the fact that it has fewer parts that tend to break. The only problem I had was with the battery. I would have liked a few more hours of battery life. Other than that, this cordless drill was a great buy.

My advice to you is to take your time and shop around before you make your final purchase. Find the drill that works best for you and remember to try out different drill bits. Most brands will have a decent amount of reviews on them so you can get a feel for what others have said about their drill. Happy drilling.
