Health Supplements Explosion

If I’m going to be honest about health supplements, I have to say that I don’t completely believe in them. At one point in my life, I had so many health supplements that I could have started my own health business from home! I wanted to improve my health and wellness and with these well marketed products that I had seen online, I thought this was the way to go.

Unfortunately, when I started researching the health supplements currently available, I discovered that they might not be very effective. This is why I think health supplements don’t really work:

For starters, the answer is in the title: health ‘supplements’. The word ‘supplement’ means ‘replacement’ and it will never be as good as the natural version. I don’t understand why people like me have invested in health supplements like vitamins and minerals, when a larger, more potent version has always been available in our diets. Watercress, for example, has the highest vitamin E content of anything known to man. Even eating an orange will give you the vitamin C you need! Unfortunately, instead of buying cheap, natural products, we invest in expensive products that often contain chemicals that the body considers toxic. So, in fact, some health supplements, depending on the ingredients, actually add more stress to the body and damage it over time.

Even more concerning, a high percentage of the actual supplement is lost in the digestion process. This is why pills, for example, are less effective than spraying vitamin spray under the tongue. Most health supplements are something you have to eat or drink, so you’ll never get all of the health benefits that are listed on the packaging.

If you are going to buy any type of supplement, make sure it is organic and does not contain ingredients that are harmful to the health of the body. My best suggestion comes in powder form and is called Spirulina. It doesn’t look very appealing, but it’s 100% plant derived and smells pretty fresh. You can add this to your drink or food and it is one of the most complete nutritional resources on the planet. I instantly feel energized after using this supplement and experience total wellness.

However, most health supplements are overmarketed and full of hype, so to avoid disappointment, invest in a product that is natural, ideally doesn’t have to be taken orally, and offers you a proven solution.
