Lego Star Wars Battle of Endor 8038: an amazing replica that movie fans will love

The Lego Star Wars Battle of Endor 8038 model is a replica of the battle scene from Return of the Jedi where the Empire fights against rebel warriors and furry little Ewoks. My son owns many of the Lego Star Wars sets and has happily built them with the help of my husband. He has played with these toys over and over again by himself and with his friends. They are a great distraction from watching too much TV or playing too many video games. He can use his imagination and act out the various scenes from the movie.
The Lego Star Wars Battle of Endor 8038 model contains over 800 pieces, so it is not recommended for young children due to the potential choking hazard it presents. Many of the pieces are figures including Hans Solo, Princess Leia, R2-D2, Chewbacca, Ewoks, and Storm Troopers. The bunker includes double sliding doors, just like in the movie. Also included in the set is a Scout Walker, catapult and speeder bikes. The bunker itself is less than 10″ x 10″ so it should fit nicely on any shelf once fully built.
The thing is, you have to be careful with this set and others like it when you are transporting. It can start to fall apart and that’s one of my big problems with these Lego toys. Although it’s a great toy that’s a stimulating challenge for a young mind, I groan when I hear the telltale sound of a Lego moving up the tube when I’m vacuuming my son’s room. The good thing is that the pieces themselves are durable, so if it falls apart, your child can put them back together.
The Lego Star Wars Battle of Endor 8038 toy is recommended for ages 9-14, but my son started playing with these toys at a much younger age. I think he got his first playset from him when he was about 6 for Christmas and certainly enjoyed a lot of playtime with it and other games we’ve bought since. This kit makes a great holiday or birthday gift for any movie fan.
