Portable Electronics – Automotive and Mobile Solutions

Over the past two decades, the portable electronics category has evolved to the point where it seems like a new product is coming out every day. If you don’t pay much attention, they’ll see you like you’re living under a rock at the next cocktail party!

Headphones, iPods, iPod accessories, MP3 players, portable stereos, stereos, two-way radios, audio docks, wireless speakers, and mini speakers are among the most popular electronic options consumers have today. Popular brands of mobile electronics include Apple, Audio Technica, Beats by Dr. Dre, Craig Bluetooth Stereo, dreamGEAR, Everlast, GE, Hello Kitty, HTC, ILIVE, iSound, Jamsonic, Jlab, JVC, Koss, LenMar , Maxell, Naxa, Panasonic, Pyle, Quantum, RCA and Zenex.

The automotive industry has accelerated rapidly, as almost all the models they produce on the assembly line are equipped with audio jacks, a USB cable, and some with a two- or three-pin output. You could follow suit and say that a large number of industries have had to revamp or modify their business model to ensure a pleasant customer experience. Hotels now have multiple USB outlets in their rooms. Starbucks, McDonald’s, Dunkin ‘Donuts, Barnes and Noble, shopping malls, hair salons, and many more companies have add-ons to meet customer demands. Can you name others? Clearly, it is to the business establishment’s advantage if they upgrade to make their store more e-customer friendly as it has been proven that a customer will stay in your business for a longer period of time, therefore buying more products while you’re there. What has been your experience? Do you spend more money if you are in a Starbucks or Dunkin ‘Donuts for 2 hours instead of going to the drive? via?

This new electronic age is not for everyone. Whether you are old school or not, how annoying it is when the person who is assisting you has headphones on and does not hear what you are asking! In fact, I’ve come across a few customer service folks down the road who have a button and they think it’s okay. It’s honestly rude and shows that you are not giving your customer the full attention they deserve.

Whether you are for or against this electronic revolution, one thing is for sure. It is here to stay. For the most part, mobile electronics have improved our lives, saved us time, and improved many small business entrepreneurs, making it easier for them to succeed. Our society tends to take things for granted, but when you sit back and review how we got to this point, you appreciate what you have in front of you.
