The classic early sign of pregnancy is nausea that refuses to subside, missed periods, and aching sensations throughout the body. Some women begin to feel very hungry, while others resist the sight of food. There is no checklist to determine the early sign of pregnancy as all pregnancies differ from one to another. While nausea, missed periods, and general aches and pains are sure signs of pregnancy in the early stages. It is best to record these body changes and early signs of pregnancy in a pregnancy journal. The diary records your experiences, feelings and thoughts that can be shared with family or friends either for your benefit or to enjoy your happy moments. A pregnancy journal has a way of diverting your attention from general aches and pains to making you a happy person.

Once pregnancy is confirmed, keep a weekly pregnancy calendar to record the growth and progress of the embryo through infancy. This also helps keep track of the due date, the baby’s development and the mother’s health from the day she discovers the first sign of pregnancy.
