This is a new and upcoming Volkswagen wing SUV which is expected to launch in the Indian market at the end of 2012. Both engines will have a capacity to produce a maximum power of 430 hp at 5900 rpm and 424 Nm of maximum torque at 4600 rpm with an optional 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox. Exterior – Looks very similar to Maruti Alto from the front, but looks smarter than Alto. It has a thick black line on the hood with the company emblem. The price of Volkswagen Rocktan depends on the manufacturing plant, if it is manufactured in the plant in India, the cost of the car will be around 12 lakhs. If the car is made overseas and imported to the Indian market, the cost of the car will be around Rs 20 lakhs. Both companies have not disclosed the place of manufacture (Rocktan).
