Who announces on satellite radio?

The clock shows 3:00 a.m. M. When Jason puts the latest stamps on the little pet food sample boxes he’s sending out to potential new buyers of organic dog food. He’s exhausted, but a sense of excitement has him connected as he stumbles over a puffy duvet and collapses.

You know you need to rest, but the thought of where your business is going makes your mind race.

Jason owns a small business that makes a boutique dog food line in his hometown in Missouri. It is a mix that he has fed his own breed of dog for years, and how he put it on the market for domestic consumption.

As a small business owner, Jason didn’t have a huge budget for marketing and spreading the word about his dog food. He knew that if the brand was to grow, it would have to reach a national audience. That is why he chose to advertise on satellite radio.

Jason had listened to various pet-related shows on satellite radio for years before venturing into business for himself. I had no idea what it would cost to advertise on such shows. When he contacted a satellite radio advertising company, he was surprised to learn that on some programs a commercial cost as little as $ 60 to air.

Once he had an affordable airline plan, Jason wanted to make an offer on his commercial that listeners couldn’t refuse, so we offered “free dog food.” A free sample of your dog food for anyone who calls or visits your website. Not knowing what the demand would be, he allocated some extra time on the weekends to prepare the orders. Jason was impressed when in the first week of the commercial’s airing he had a list of more than 300 people who wanted to try the product.

Will they all be regular customers? probably not, but a good percentage probably will be. Especially if Jason follows up and provides the customer service that he is proud to advocate and helps educate each new customer on the benefits of the product he is shipping.

Jason is a perfect example of a small or medium business owner who works on a budget but needs to reach a national audience with a product or service. This is the type of business for which satellite radio advertising can be perfect when combined with the right program while presenting a “can’t refuse” offer to the consumer.
