A social amnesia

Regression to oblivion

One cannot help but wonder after a visit to one or some of the great historical places or after having finished reading a great history book about the great civilization of the past year and discovering that the current settlers in the place or places neither they are even aware of the fact. that an exemplary civilization had happened in the place they occupied today; But we are just as interested in hearing description and findings from archaeologists and historians as any of us remote observers. It is mind-boggling to think of the disparity in skill and level of consciousness that had existed then and now in the same place to make one think that the current inhabitants or the civilized ones who once lived there were from anything but some other remote and often it gives no clue as to where they might have been beyond mere speculation and remote possibilities. One thing that has remained so is that all present day settlers at these early civilization points seem to have suffered some kind of social amnesia or regressed to a point where they have completely forgotten their decent beginnings in the monumental achievements of their ancestors. . I cannot fail to mention here that I have read a well-documented and researched book by a well-known author Graham Hancock that covered most or all of the great points of the early great human civilizations of Asia, Africa, Europe, and America.

In all or most of this, the disparity in the level of wealth and influx of skills between what was then and what is now seems and is immeasurable. This disparity seems and may be the main factor in the search for outsiders who could have effected or helped to achieve these unprecedented isolated human social and material achievements. These outside source searches for the causes and creators of such human civilizations will lead us nowhere but to a community of other people that is not only lucky in every way but can be a never ending chase until we get to it. Adam and Eve themselves; for each human group had seen the light of a day and the darkness of the nights that followed often and always. So it seems that not only is it important, prudence and common sense dictate looking for areas where it has been overlooked or little investigated. It is a probable possibility that the mystery lies in the functioning and methods of transferring ability and power from generation to generation and it may be that these civilizations were not social civilizations as such, but individual and group achievements. where the know-how and skills on display are simply levels acquired by privileged individuals and master builders and craftsmen of what was a social conscience where society in general or even the base was aware or conscious for security and governance reasons or even intellectual property. Here it seems that it is important to closely examine the possible causes mentioned above, each one at a time.

It may be first and foremost and very significant to establish the difference between what we call anything like civilization and Masterpieces of builders, craftsmen and achievements of individual Masters and few. Civilizations have the characteristic of being social, cultural and somehow have a way of entering the moral, social and economic fiber of an entire society, directly or indirectly; while in the masterpieces beyond the privileged and the individual, the masses and the fortunate base both the consciousness, the necessity and the skill necessary to perform beyond mere work in the creation and perpetuation of the consummate “great scientific work , engineering and social masterpieces “. Since civilization has this uncontrollable behavior of seeping into the population and reaching beyond the intentions of authority, it may be that these early global points of light are not products of civilizations, but achievements of some unknown masters, builders, and craftsmen. If they were, one might wonder why they weren’t known. It is an issue important enough to cause or cast doubt on the whole case that we have set out to clarify and shed light on. The question of secrecy was not and still is a question of property only, but was and is also a question of power and governance. In early times, the rulers were gods or gods themselves who ruled by divine providence and magical acts that were beyond and above the understanding and understanding of the common man, unlike today’s democratic rulers who have to demonstrate what they can, and what they are, to the general public before they are elevated to positions of power. His skill and know-how is not only unquestionable and indisputable, but also mythical, and that could have been achieved by acquiring the knowledge or appropriating the knower and keeping it safe enough not to spread to the governed. This phenomenon is not limited to masterpieces of architecture, art, sculpture, and the visual arts, but to all branches and disciplines of human knowledge. It is common knowledge that many perished with what they have acquired, learned and revealed to them that they pass the knowledge on to strangers and to the general public for proprietary reasons. Being magic and the prestige of being a magician disappears as a result. There were no copyright or copyright laws in place to encourage the transfer and dissemination of know-how and knowledge that added to the barriers already mentioned.

The transfer of energy has never been easy or orderly. This is still true in many, if not all, parts of the world. Even in the US, where the utmost discipline and order are supposedly displayed and expected, accusations have been heard from incoming and outgoing governments of each other of destruction and displacement of files and the like, regardless of some electoral disturbances that raised some doubt about some recent past elections. Past history, we have learned to be civilized enough to establish the rule of law and order, as today’s transfers of power have been the most feared events and the most destructive historical events that societies around the world have experienced. that most chose to live with the evils of governments that had to do with life and material suffering and losing that normally precede a change of government or transfers of power. Often times, new governments are established not simply by overthrowing their predecessors, but by undoing everything they did and destroying everything they stood for. It is also important to note that most traditions dictate dying in honor of the old master than to betray and be rewarded by the new rulers, which presupposes that most master builders, craftsmen, and technicians could have perished with the honors of their teachers.

It’s also important to note the fact that the rulers destroyed all of their secrets and source of power before making their decent ending and it’s easy to assume who and what their goal would be before their final game. The new rulers would have inherited neither the skill and wealth nor the builders, craftsmen, and technicians to carry on the achievements of their predecessors. Thus these brilliant achievements remained resplendent discrete points that began and ended in the same place, seeming to luck a beginning and a continuity, making us look for their origin in all places at the same time. The social amnesias that prevail in these places are both real and mythical. they are real because those achievements can be out of nowhere and by none other than the first inhabitants of those places whose deceased are there and can be everywhere and anywhere. It could be a myth because they may be gone forever to never be known with certainty and precision that we could all accept and agree with, but only theorize, speculate, and search for quite some time in the future. It would take us only to the past and beyond
