Is my girlfriend addicted to sex? How often is TOO often? What if I can’t keep up? Will she cheat, get lost, or find someone else to satisfy her sexual urges, needs, and desires? If you’re like the millions of men who struggle to understand female sexuality, this article was written with YOU in mind! Are you curious to know more? Read on as we dive deeper below.

The signs of addiction to “real” sex

The truth is that genuine sex addiction is NOT a common thing and where it IS found in men OR women, it is rarely about sex. Sexual addiction in the “clinical” sense is often a manifestation of other patterns of compulsive behavior, such as excessive gambling or otherwise acting recklessly.

The good news? If you’re worried that your girlfriend, wife, or lover is addicted to sex, it’s probably simply because they enjoy having it with you as often as possible! ~ (and it probably means he’s satisfying his sexual needs in ways ‘t)

If you DO find that your sexual urges, needs, or desires are SO frequent that they are disruptive to your lives, and you notice other strange compulsive behavior to begin with. This is rare… But it could mean there is an underlying psychological issue that needs to be addressed.

Other things to consider when it comes to a woman’s sex drive?

Most women can have serial and sequential orgasms, which means that she can and often will want to go longer, harder and more often than our male partners who can only climax once. (This is not a sign of sex addiction, of course, just a woman who really enjoys it)!

Women also have a much longer sexual response cycle than men. This means that it will take her much longer to orgasm than it will for you. So, if she prioritizes climaxing during intercourse, she may seem “addicted” to sex simply because she wants to continue long after you’re done.

Many women take much longer to feel sexually comfortable with a partner, but once they do, their erotic appetite increases dramatically. This is especially obvious at the beginning of a relationship, and why many men find their partners “insatiable” in the first 3-6 months of a new relationship.

Lastly, remember… when it comes to sex, there doesn’t need to be too much of a good thing! If he loves sex, and more importantly, he loves having it with you, consider yourself lucky and enjoy it!
