Ceramic water coolers: a smart alternative

Ceramic is a non-metallic solid, shaped by first heating followed by subsequent cooling. It is basically an inorganic crystalline solid that has been used to make a variety of objects for centuries. Anything from floor and roof tiles, blades and knives and tableware to missile-tip cones have ceramics. Apart from its application in industrial and construction products, its historical contribution has been in domestic products. These household products include dinnerware, tableware, decorative pieces, sanitary ware, and more recently, ceramic water coolers

An advantage of having a ceramic water cooler is that ceramic has excellent cooling properties and therefore its most widespread use has been in the form of a ceramic water cooler. This makes them a great addition to any home. These coolers are prepared by mixing them with clay or other materials and then firing them to harden them. They are even glazed to give them a colorful look and make them attractive. Ceramic water pots are not only great for holding water, they also make a wonderful piece for home decor. These coolers can very well keep the temperature of the water placed in them well below 15 degrees of ambient temperature.

Due to their ability to provide cooler water, they are quite popular in some of the hotter, arid regions of the world. Typically, the standard capacity of ceramic water coolers is 2-3 gallons, but they are now available in 5-gallon capacities as well. They can be easily placed on the countertop or on top of a stand. These stands are usually made of wood, mostly oak or some other sturdy material. They can be easily placed on the countertop or stored in a corner of the room. The jars also have the ability to store pickles and other vegetables in rural areas. Whatever the use; pottery has proven its ability in both ancient and modern times with equal use.
