Denying these 6 things will not make them go away!

Why do so few politicians, even after elections, become statesmen? Why do so many of these people resort to either lying or denying instead of doing what they were supposedly elected to do, which is to serve and represent their constituents and the best interests of this nation? Wake up, America, and understand, going into denial, about something that, could be, undesirable, never does, goes away! With that in mind, this article will briefly attempt to consider, examine, review, and discuss what this means and represents, and why, these 6 specific things should be recognized and acted upon, rather than ignored. / denied.

one. Climate change: Scientists and climate experts/professionals warn us that climate change is real and must be proactively considered. Although some seek to deny it because they believe it does not fit their personal/political agenda and/or self-interest, we have witnessed an increase in the average temperature of the earth, and a considerable amount of melting in the polar ice caps. . The long-term hazard/impact of this is risking a rise in sea levels and considerable potential risk, especially, to lower-lying coastal cities, towns, communities, etc.

two. Environmental protections: What kind of planet do we want to hand over to future generations? Will we proactively protect clean air and water, enforcing common sense, regulations, to ensure this? When, former President Trump, denied this, as a problem, and criticized these regulations, claiming that they harmed the economy, etc., the longer term threat is to the health and well-being of the inhabitants. of this planet!

3. Systemic Racism: How often have you heard a politician declare that there is no such thing as systemic racism? Haven’t you wondered why, if so, there is such a large pay gap, gap in services, risk/crime rate, etc., as well as how our court system treats different groups? including, by the courts, and the police?

Four. Salary – gap/equality: We are witnessing, perhaps, the largest wage gap between the haves and the have-nots! In terms of inflation, adjusted earnings, many workers are worse off, relative to corporate executives! In addition, there is still a considerable gender gap in terms of opportunities and income. No amount of denial changes these facts!

5. Heal Gun Safety: How many more must die, and be senselessly murdered, before we believe, some, sane, gun safety, laws, and limitations? Deniers like to claim that doing so is a violation of their 2nd Amendment rights, even though this Amendment specifically referred to the rights of the state, to protect themselves, and did not grant unlimited, unforced use of guns! They proclaim, Guns don’t kill, people do. but the reality is that the risk arises when the wrong people own and have access to guns, no common sense, gun limits, etc.

6. Address hate crimes: There has been a significant increase in the number of hate crime reports, as well as proclamations, by hate groups and individuals, apparently threatening individuals of specific races, ethnicities, and/or religious orientation. !

We need responsible public leaders who instead of denying. I, burying their heads, in the sand, introduce well-considered and workable approaches, plans and solutions! Will you demand, better and more?
