Don’t lose your wedding rings on your wedding day!

You are engaged! Congratulations! Soon, you’ll be up to your neck in planning the wedding of your dreams and won’t have time for anything else. This is supposed to be the happiest day of your life, so make sure you do your homework and know exactly what you’re getting into before changing those wedding rings on that special day. This time in your life will be hectic, so having as much organization as possible in your life will make stress seem more bearable. It is also wise to heed the warnings of other people who have been married before you. Here are some tips for the wedding day when you exchange wedding rings and become husband and wife.

The night before your big day, be sure to go to bed early and get enough sleep. Yes, it will be difficult to sleep because you will be constantly thinking about the next day, but try to get into bed at a decent time. Planning a bachelor or bachelorette party the night before the wedding is just plain stupid. Who wants to have a hangover and feel terrible on their wedding day? No one.

Eat a good, solid breakfast packed with protein and complex carbohydrates. This type of food will stay in your body longer and keep you active for possibly the longest day of your entire life. You’ll be so busy being pulled in multiple directions that you may not have time to eat again until long after the wedding ceremony.

Take enough time to prepare. You want to be able to have time to relax before exchanging wedding rings and vows, not be pressed for time and have your guests wait until you’ve finished putting on makeup, etc. This is a great day, so plan accordingly.

Wear a dress shirt that fastens to the front when styling. This will allow you easy access when removing your shirt to put on your wedding dress. You will retain your beautiful hairstyle and prevent you from being damaged in all the chaos looming around you.

Lastly, make sure someone you trust very much has the diamond wedding rings safely in their possession on the day of the ceremony. It would be absolutely horrifying to lose your rings on your wedding day.
