If you’re the type who enjoys skiing in the sun, you’ll want to ski late in the season, as temperatures often top 0 degrees Celsius in February. March, for example, brings an average of 150 hours of sunshine; however, please note that lift operations generally end in early to mid-April and may sometimes close earlier depending on weather conditions.

The Best Time to Vacation in Summer in Sun Peaks

Again, this is completely based on personal preference. While July technically offers the highest average temperatures and sunshine hours, some guests may prefer the slightly cooler temperatures in mid to late August. An added benefit for guests staying at any mountain resort during the summer is that they can typically take advantage of lower nightly rates on accommodations due to reduced demand.
