MT-RJ is an acronym for Mechanical Transfer Registered Jack. It is also sometimes referred to as a recommended media termination connector. MT-RJ is a cable connector device based on the principle of fiber optic technology. Coming from the MT connector family that can have up to 12 fibers, MT-RJ connectors house two fibers that are combined with each other with the help of locator pins present on the plug.
