You’re in good hands

“Don’t worry, you’re in good hands.” These were the words of a Swiss doctor that gave me a new hope of survival and thank God I survived a massive heart attack.

It was a sunny day in February 2003 when I was sitting in my office in Geneva and doing work as usual. Suddenly I felt something wrong in my body. Before I could analyze what was wrong, I had a severe heart attack. In a short time an ambulance arrived and took me to the hospital. While on my way to the hospital, my condition began to worsen due to shortness of breath and severe chest pain. This was the moment when the doctor’s kind words “don’t worry, you are in good hands” touched my soul and gave me great relief assuring me that I was in good hands. Now, after 15 years, I still feel the magical effect of those words on my body. Whenever I have to go to the hospital to see a sick family member or friend, I tell the patient “don’t worry, you’ll get better soon” and the patient starts to feel better. Every patient needs a positive energy to fight the disease and this energy comes to him through the kind words he hears from others.

Any bad event in your life can be dangerous. But if someone tells you “don’t worry, you’re in good hands”, then you get a new energy to fight against the forces of evil. Kind words always help. Please be kind to anyone who is in any kind of physical or psychological pain. Say some words of love, words of endearment and words of encouragement to get him/her out of the ugly situation.

Be careful in the use of words. Your words can give someone a new life or even take their life. Always use kind, understanding and helpful words. Always be willing to help someone in one way or another. Life is Beautiful. Make it more beautiful and charming by using nice words for others.

You can make a difference in other people’s lives simply by using the right words for a specific situation. Use the power of words to motivate them, heal them, encourage them, guide them and help them succeed in life. Also make people happy with decent jokes and loving comments.

In any difficult situation, let your loved ones know that you are by their side ready to help them. If you are far away then send them messages of condolences, love, encouragement and prayers.
