Gay Bars in Inverness

When visiting Inverness, while it is a great city to visit, there are only two gay bars to be found. Although there are other bars and clubs to visit only Nico’s Bar and Bistro, along with Cactus Jak’s and Bar Pivo.

When you visit Nico’s Bar and Bistro it’s on Ness Bank and it’s a perfect quiet night out for friends in this northern Scottish town. This is where you’ll find a lineup of cocktails and local beers, along with snacks and meals.

There is Bar Pive which is located on Academy Street where live entertainment will make for a fun night out and karaoke can add to the fun at the Inverness gay bar. They have drink specials for customers and carry the local beers, the staff and atmosphere are welcoming to out of town visitors.

Then there is Cactus Jak’s which can be found on the High Street, this bar has monthly specials on the first Tuesday of the month. Some of the entertainment to be found at Cactus Jak’s is a dance floor with a DJ, dancers, party games, live entertainment on the weekends, and a bronco for added fun. The staff are friendly and so is the atmosphere for the bar visitor, with drink specials and local beers.

Inverness is one of the cities in Scotland that has a lot to offer the visitor during the year when it hosts the gay film festival and the Highland Pride Ball, both events not to be missed if you visit while they are in progress.
