Grief, denial, the rebound relationship and other steps to get over your ex

Getting over an ex is a process for most mortal mothers. We are not able, so far, to turn our emotions on and off like a light switch is turned on. This means that we are meant to experience a wide range of emotions like hurt, denial, relationship rebound, and even anger when our relationships end. While it would be nice if we could skip some of the less pleasant aspects of a breakup, there’s a lot that would be lost if we could just turn off or speed up these various emotional phases.

The first of the three doomsdays (pain, denial, rebound relationship) is tort. The complaint is where many people find themselves stuck and unable to move forward or backward. Depending on how long you were in a relationship, the grievance can be deep and all-encompassing.
