love life

Life is so short. The days can seem terribly long at times. January seems very long to me. But now it’s almost over.

When I was in my teens and twenties, I thought I would never grow old. I just disqualified the notion. Most young people do.

But I’m here to tell you, you just turn around and you’re 40, 50 years old and wondering what happened.

This post is about appreciating each day of our lives. I know it’s hard sometimes when things don’t go well. Still, there is always tomorrow, and hope, as long as we are breathing.

So, as much as possible, take life one day at a time and do what makes you happy. Work smart, play hard. Even while raising children, have fun and then have fun as a family. Whether it’s a date night, vacation, or doing something simple like spending time at a park, zoo, fishing, or swimming.

You will be so glad you did. You can’t remember the time, so do things now. Travel, learn to paint, swim, go skydiving! Take a walk, ride a motorcycle, play golf, ride a roller coaster, or do something relaxing like fishing. Maybe learn to fly fish. Travel to other countries, or take a cruise. There are so many places to see and do, let your imagination make your decisions.

The main thing here is the conscious decision to go and do it before it’s too late. Fall in love if you are single! Love makes us live longer, say researchers.

Organize family reunions and enjoy your grandchildren or great-grandchildren. Ride ATVs with them or take them on trips with you.

Activities and happiness keep us feeling young. We need this in retirement years.

You have worked hard during all those years of youth. Now is the time for you!

The golden years are here, now, if possible, make your years rich in pleasure and happiness.

Loving life gives you freedom to enjoy it. Your goals will become brighter and more fulfilling when you enjoy your life. In your youth, you can make the changes you need to achieve your goals. The sky is the limit!

I wish I could come back as many people my age wish too. We would have made better decisions, reached for the sky and made the most of each day.

So go, loving life, living life to the fullest!
