Rottweiler dogs: what makes them so unique?

A dog is a dog, right? Well, the answer to that question depends on whether or not you have fallen in love with a particular breed of dog.

So what makes a Rottweiler so unique that once you’re exposed to them, you can’t live without them? In my humble opinion, having been in love with the breed for almost 20 years, it is because of their divided character and personalities: 0)

All the things you hear on the news, and spitting out of the mouths of highly ignorant people don’t even come close to representing the true Rottweiler.

What do I mean by divided personalities? I have a 120 pound dog that sleeps with me all night because his dad works at the cemetery. He loves to snuggle, hoard the blankets, and give big kisses.

That same dog, if someone knocks on my door in the middle of the night or worse, walks into my house, he will not only drive away the potential intruder, but will protect me with his life if necessary.

Now flip that coin again and anyone who meets my well-trained Rottweiler while out for a walk, or on a trip to the pet store, will run into a tail-wagging class (whatever there is of it) loving tail. fun. clown.

When you meet someone new, the first thing you want to do is sit on their foot, lean on their leg, and shove their head under your pet hand.

If there is a ball within 100 yards, your nose will smell it. If you are lucky enough to be the chosen one to cast it to, then you are his best friend for life. If you ignore your efforts to get him to throw it, you will find him pushing the ball between his feet and looking back and forth between his face and the ball until it finally gives way.

Now go ahead, flip that coin one more time and find a Rottweiler who is guarding the family vehicle while his people are in the store. You are likely to get a calm look that simply says “Please move away from the vehicle.”

If you do not comply with the first request, you will likely receive a second warning that sounds more like “get away from the vehicle NOW!”

Rottweiler dogs are fiercely loyal to their family and highly protective of the people and property that “belong” to their pack.

Rottweiler owners are absolutely passionate about the breed. Just go to an online forum dedicated to Rotties, such as RottweilersOnline.com, and you will find a group of very passionate people who, after owning a Rottweiler, will never have another breed of dog again. At least they swear that a Rottie will always be a part of their family.

Contrary to popular belief, Rotties make excellent family pets and tend to love children. Their natural tendency is to be very calm, cool, and collected. The key to bringing out the certain The Rottweiler traits is to breed, train and socialize properly, which unfortunately does not always happen.

If you are thinking of adding a Rottweiler to your family, I highly recommend that you do as much research as possible and find out what the real Rottie is all about.
