What precautions with omega 3 fish oil do you know?

You are right that omega 3 fatty acids are an essential part of your nutrition. They reduce inflammation, improve your memory and protect you from a number of serious diseases. And you’re also right that fish oil is a great source of these essential fatty acids.

Fish oil can have 60% or more of the omega 3s you need and they are convenient. But there are some caveats about omega 3 fish oil that you should be aware of.

It is very easy to check the purity of your supplements. And, if you take the recommended dose of 1 to 2 pills per day, you are unlikely to experience these side effects. And, of course, consult your doctor before adding any new supplements to your diet. To verify purity, look at where the fish comes from.

The manufacturer must indicate the origin and type of fish on the label. Wild salmon, tuna or hoki caught in clean waters like the Pacific or the pristine Southern Ocean are good choices.
